Yeah. Let's just give up and go back to the Moyes years....Were certainly better off than over the last three seasons!
I guess it comes down to balancing the options. It may be worth risking going for an unproven quality. On the other hand Moyes has a proven track record, has built good teams in the past on a budget and is very professional in his approach.Yeah. Let's just give up and go back to the Moyes years....
No wonder we don't get nice things.
If we want to go into the past for a still living manager who brought tangible success we should appoint Royle. Everyone since has been a different shade of failure. Were certainly better off than over the last three seasons!

I would be intrigued to see what he could do here with more money.
No - I just still remember us being the best outside the top four even when being outspent by Spurs, Villa and the like. It is not easy when the likes of City, Man Utd and Chelsea can spend fortunesYou're on a wind up. I'm out.
No shouts for Eddie Howe? The man has made a PL club out of Bournemouth.
Moyes isn’t that old though - he is 54. He could even lay foundations for someone more progressive in the futureIf we want to go into the past for a still living manager who brought tangible success we should appoint Royle. Everyone since has been a different shade of failure.
On the other hand maybe he would flourish with EFCs resources?I think we would have to move at least 3 or 4 candidates down the ranking order if he was to become a serious contender. I don't see him as being our manager, though I would be less inclined to dismiss him outright than in the recent past. He has done well at Bournemouth but needs a more broader level of experience to cope with a big challenge.

How did that go?
