We're on our arses here. Two years of that gormless get Moshiri has seen to that. There is no chance of landing the first 6 in that list. Why on earth would they come to this basket case of a club?
Because Bill will simply regale them with tales from the boys pen and stories of the holy trinity and yesteryear, but yeah apart from Silva and Fonseca i doubt the rest would probably look twice at us.

Hardly a basket case mate:

Sat 8th in the table
Biggest club outside the top 6
6th biggest net spenders over the last 5 years
Pays managers on average £6 million a year in which I think only Wenger out of that list is paid more

Make no mistake we are attractive proposition this summer. If the board have the foresight and ambition to approach said managers is a totally different story but I think those people wetting their knickers over potential appointments are doing so based on the fact we were in the season near bottom with no obvious replacement for Koeman.

Now its the summer with everyone back on 0 points with the summer window to work with the players and sign and sell in the transfer window is a totally different ball game in appointing a manager.

Any new manager here faces the same problems the last three have.

If things are to truly change Moshiri needs to buy out the others and take full control, appoint his own CEO, DoF. They then can make permanent back room staff appointments of their own.

One hopes that if those appointments are good, there is a high-quality stable foundation to persist beyond first team coaches/managers.

I think there’s a good case for leaving SA where he is and changing only these other roles. Stability in one aspect and change in others. He certainly seems unlikely to get the team relegated. After things have settled, he may want To move on or may not want to move on. That will depend on what his new seniors ask of him.

Even if any new manager was great, how well will they truly do with the current senior setup?

I heard Ancelotti cant get enough of Bill's Grandad Albert stories. He regales everyone back in Milan with Bill's "Papa Alberto" tales.

If we have a savvy DoF coming in with contacts he'll unearth a Pochettino for us. Short of that happening it's Silva...if we're lucky.

I agree in I think someone like Brands coming in will be vital in us approaching a top coach. I feel last season we wanted to just appoint the best of the rest - Koeman, Walsh, Williams, Bolasie and Siggurdsson basically the main assets at clubs below us.

Someone like Brands coming will imo have him in Moshiri's ear about potential managers to take us to that next level. Just need those clowns Kenwright and Elstone out aswell.

was Moshiri who has bought all those players and hired Koeman and Allardyce, but yeah bloody Kenwright

With Fonseca looking off the table its either stick with Sam or go with Silva.

I think Silva is the best option anyway.
