Naggelman(sp) would be an interesting choice. Maybe he wants to spread his wings outside of the Bundesliga. Then again, if he gets ANY success here, he's going to Bayern at the drop of a hat.

It's got to be Silva. He hasn't been tempted to go elsewhere when other jobs came up.
That makes no sense to me unless he's already pencilled in for a job next season.
I have no great candidate to champion, tbh. Let's just say though that my idea of who should manage differs from Moshiri's.Would that be your first choice tho dave? If not who? And if you could a manager not on the poll above who would you get in?

Genuinely interested in who you think we should approach.
I just told you I have no overwhelming candidate in mind. Silva would be better than Allardyce for sure.
Get in the bin ladWe have to give Rodgers a shot, surely
he's done quite well at Celtic, and they are playing good football
1. Emery is a no brainer tbh, i think we should straight in there with a blank cheque book tbh.I dont want Fonesca or Silva tbh, the more I think about it the more I believe we simply have to bring in a realisic but proven manager.
1. Unai Emery- has to be our number one choice and whilst arguably unrealistic he may well want to manage in England and I dont see Chelsea or Arsenal going for him leaving us as the only other club.
2. Arsene Wenger- record speaks for itself and knows Moshiri from his time at Arsenal. I personally think he'll move abroad but who knows maybe he's settled in England and wants to stay on managing in the prem. We would be massive favourites if so.
3. Roberto Mancini - Mancini was the one who really pushed City on a level signing the likes of David Silva, Aguero, Dzeko and Yaya Toure. He seems a bit of a bell but I think he would have us top 7 easily and with the financial backing could push us on.
4. Laurent Blanc - was a leader on the pitch as a player and had a decent record in europe with Bordaeux. Donea decent job at PSG and again would easily have us top 7 imo.
5. Paulo Fonesca - I like that he's young and seems to play a good style of football but he for me is still a risk and could easily be another De Boer than a Pochettino.
6. Manuel Pellegrini - seems a nice bloke and again better than any manager currently managing outside the top 6 so for me it would be a yes although not overwhelming.
7. Marco Silva - meh would rather Alladyce tbh.
We're on our arses here. Two years of that gormless get Moshiri has seen to that. There is no chance of landing the first 6 in that list. Why on earth would they come to this basket case of a club?I dont want Fonesca or Silva tbh, the more I think about it the more I believe we simply have to bring in a realisic but proven manager.
