I hate to say it but some of these shouts are fanciful.

Would Emery really want to come to a club that's won one trophy in 30 years and only finished 4th once in the history of the Premier League? It's not like we even have an impressive stadium. It kills me to say it but we're now a relatively small club with a small ground.

Marco Rose from Red Bull Salzburg being linked - by me, now.

Seriously he'd be my outside bet if I thought for a second the recruitment process was going to be run by competent people.

If Ralph Hasenhüttl doesn't agree a new contract with RB Leipzig soon, Marco Rose will be packing his bags and heading home to Leipzig to take the coaches job there!

He is a very interesting coach, and one who will surely be worth keeping an eye on.

Better than Klippity Klopp’s super duper Liverpool team?

No way Corkie

Dem’s da best teeem in der werllld ever, la’ :pint2:

Lol The more i think about it Van Gall would be a massive improvement on all three of Martinez Koeman and Allardyce. However he didn't set the world on fire at Old Trafford, and he can be a very confrontational character. But Louis Van Gall would be a better appointment than the likes of Sean Dyche and Eddie Howe.To be fair both Dyche and Howe are good managers, who have pretty much done everything asked of them at Burnley and Bournemouth. But we should be and hopefully will be looking at more bigger name candidates.

I disagree about present day LVG being better than Martinez but I agree he
is a step up from the others you mention.
