Tuchel is apparently going to PSG
Arsenal linked with Allegri or Viera / Arteta this morning, though Ancelotti been mentioned too.
Conte probably back to Italy with the Napoli manager linked to Chelsea.

This still leaves a home to be found for Emery, Fonseca (if he leaves) and Silva.

Reckon AC Milan will be looking for a new boss, but it is narrowing down.

Think you can forget your Dyche / Howe shouts, not a chance IMO.

Almost the same number of people want Allardyce as they do Silva :coffee:

That's the likes of you who just want to exist in the premier league. That is all you get with Allardyce, along with fan disinterest, no chance of silverware and bland, ineffective and safety first football.

At least Silva would shake it up a bit.

If no one wants Allardyce then no one wants Silva either according to the polls. He’ll be gone before the end of the season.

Yes, I don't think the manager market will be as fragmented as some suggest. Though even in the absence of competition, the sort of candidates that might interest the top six are a long shot for us in any case.

We will not be competing with Arsenal and Chelsea for managers anyway.

I think Sarri will stay in Italy if he leaves Napoli, that's just a hunch. Who knows with Emery, there is interest from Real Sociedad, its a long shot he would end up here.

Other than that, I can only think of Borussia Dortmund, and perhaps the two Milan clubs that could be on the lookout also, and they would all be more attractive than us. Potentially Fonseca would interest them I'd imagine.

I'd accept Silva but it would actually be nice if he had other offers to consider, rather than just being the last guy left without a partner.

I just can't believe that Fonseca wouldn't be the number one choice. The guy is markedly better than Silva and it looks, for all intents and purposes, that he won't be signing a new contract at Shakthar.. so no compo would even be owed. He fits the bill and has stated on more than one occasion that the Premier League is his goal.. so makes sense surely?

The flaw in your logic. Oh, and stop calling me Shirley.

Only thing I could imagine is that he's said no for one reason or another. I reckon he's holding out for a bigger offer.

If Brands is THE one we wanted, and he IS what the club want/need, then the manager is of less importance.

Silva doesn't work, we move him on.
