Not a good move for him. I listened recently to a French journalist talking about Emery this season and PSG. As manager was to babysit the galacticos, keep them every week and keep them happy. It was never about building a team or playing the best formation. He reckoned Emery never stood a chance and those to years have seriously damaged the reputation of a very promising manager.

Tuchel has to win the CL, everything else is failure.. that is his remit.

Dont like Rafael mate I think he's a moaning git however im sick of us appointing crap managers and we look to follow suit imo. You have a Champions League and multiple trophy winner right under our noses but because he managed Liverpool alot of our fans act like he's crap.

Give Benitez the money Koemans had to waste and he'll have us alot closer to the top 6 and possibly a trophy to boot.

I just took all his comments about us with a pinch of salt - he was towing the RS Cult line mate. At Newcastle he's never had a bad word said about us.

I dont like him personality wise but I didnt like Koeman either who came across as an arrogant sod and at times a bully- however I want a manager at EFC who can deliver us trophies and I dont care if that person is a true blue or ex RS.

In an ideal world we would get an Emery, Blanc or Mancini type manager in however offer me Benitez as the best available or some massive risk appointment like Silva and Fonesca and its Benitez all the way for me. If it goes tits up again I doubt we have a fat Sam on speed dial to ease tensions so this summer has to be right.

Sure hes got a very good pedigree, but hes very, very unlikable.
