I don't mind the English people as a whole. It's when it comes to sports teams, the football team being a shining example.

My mileometer said I did 25 miles en route to work today, but half of it was just through the country, so would you say I did about 40 miles? Gonna start claiming for petrol FFS

I would claim 50 miles to be honest doc.

Country miles are generally of the winding variety and most are quite hilly. I'd say doubling the mileometer would be perfectly ok.

It all fits mate. Used to be good years ago but now distinctly average. Lauded by all in the media for no particular reason. Tittish fans who can't behave abroad (Euro 2000 anyone?) and when Gerrard plays crap, the team plays crap.
