What he isn't is a number 6 who can sit in front of a defence and screen it effectively, nor is he someone you want in that number 6 role taking the ball from the CBs and progressing play because he isn't good at it

That goal he gave away last night was a bit of a joke, but he's given the ball away a good few times in dangerous areas of the pitch this season (and some have led to goals) because we've given him more responsibility on the ball than we should have done

Maintain that if you want to get the most out of him, it needs to be in a 4231

Utterly finished as a footballer. We are completely archaic, no one else in the league would dream of buying a 33 year old former midfielder to be an actual first teamer.

first half he was the only one who actually was in midfield - that's totally on Lampard and the completely dreadful Davies and Iwobi.

Gana second half, for the 20 mins that he was on, was as awful as any of the others.

Can't agree more...just look at their first goal which was crucial...gueye the only player back defending...Davis nowhere to be seen. He did OK but he is asked to do far too much...second half was terrible especially the back pass...but we were already out if contention at that point in time.
