No, he just runs even more against bigger teams. To say he plays better against bigger teams, yet we never really compete with bigger teams, is a good example of the overall mystique around him. We get the runaround, so he covers lots of ground, something I am well aware he is decent at.

So better for him equals more running. Him playing "magnificently" as someone laughingly quoted the other day, translates to him running round aimlessly like a maniac.

Ill get slated for saying this, but Nyarko had more quality than Gueye, he just couldn't be arsed.

Get rid, he could easily have tackled 28 if he tried harder.

I'm talking more tackles, interceptions, blocks etc. as we have less of the ball. Why do I care about him running?

If he was "running around aimlessly" he wouldn't have made the most tackles of any player in Europe would he? That's a completely void accusation.

Just because a player has a good engine on him and covers a lot of ground doesn't mean they're a headless chicken. He isn't the best ball player yet he's had the most touches and completed the most passes of anybody on our team this season. If our attackers actually finished the chances they got (as they should have) on Sunday would you honestly still be on this thread critiquing him?

He's had one bad game this season against West Ham which was easily the worst I've seen him play. If you put players who are better on the ball than Davies, Sigurdsson and Schneiderlin next to him who can better capitalise from the graft he puts in then we become a proper unit who can actually challenge better teams than us.
