1 - he’s not worth £50m
2 - we’ll clearly get more than £25m
3 - Delph was £8m so it’s not “Delph for Gueye” it’d be Delph + £25m or so for Gueye. Much different.

You can only keep players who want to stay. It’s either a new contract for the lad or we get the best deal possible and reinvest for the future. We need to get used to this, we will have player turnover until we establish ourselves as CL quality. Even then, you’re still in trouble when genuine European heavyweights want your players (think bale, Suarez and Coutinho)

Zouma wasn’t ours to lose and how can Everton turn down £35m for a 30 year old please enlighten me
