I'm sure someone else will run around loads without being able to trap a bag of sand, it's a unique skill set which loss will lead us to conceding 5 more a game apparently but we will just have to cope with being relegation certs without verattis new drinks holderIve heard Gana is the only player in world football who knows how to close down.

We're a selling club and always will be until we cement ourselves consistently in the European bracket, Why yes that is contradiction "Well how can we get Europe if we sell our best players?" We "usually" sell our best players to the absolute elite clubs who can offer titles and European football where Everton have no leverage. An issue for me is we will have sold as many key players in 3 years under Moshiri than we did in about 15 years under Kenwrong:
Rooney
Lescott
Arteta
Felliani
Vs
Lukaku
Stones
Barkley
Gana?
At some point we cant keep selling our best players- by all means if a club comes in and offers daft Maguire or Coutinho money then assess the situation - but £30-35 million for one of imo Europe's best defensive midfielders is nothing in this current market regardless of him turning 30 soon.
Absolutely criminal if we sell him.

The attitude to him leaving is the same as when Rom left just instead of spreading the goals around the team we are going to spread the tackles and interceptions around. It doesn't always work like that as I think we know.
Central midfielders don't need to be fast ffs, get a grip, some of the greatest players ever weren't fast.
This is the problem, You're panicking because you can't think of a replacement when there is hundreds out there you've never heard of and you're only thinking of the ones we can't afford. But its the rate in which we do it thats a concern since Moshiri came in - maybe Moyes played a part in a reluctance to sell however the fact remains we'll have sold atleast one of our better starting 11 players in each season under Moshiri's ownership.
As I said I dont have a problem selling if its going to benefit the squad i.e getting massive money to reinvest in 3-4 other positions however the move for Gana isnt going to allow us to do that likewise there are not many like for like replacements out there who we could attract/afford.
Ndidi is as close as we could get imo and Leicester aint selling him to us.
