29 year old defensive mid completely unproven at the top level, inconsistent, and not the best passing range. Price seems entirely fair to me.

Absolutely this. Good grafter but its not like we would be losing a top class player.

He was the top tackler, top defensive midfielder, top passer (for us) in Europe last year, statistically.

His energy and ability to cover most of the midfield was a huge boost. His form after Christmas was brilliant.

No its not. He was great at breaking up play. Going forward he wasnt anything to shout about. The absolute tripe people talk about players these days is a joke. He was a good grafter.
