Dave mate you're writing this knowing its not true. We are approaching this window with someone in charge who's running it correctly as business...which is what you yourself has been banging no about for ages.

You bemoan the negligence of people at the top of the past couple of years which has rightly set us back,but the nuts and bolts of it is this.The summer has to set us on a solid basis of us to affectivity move forward and if selling player's like Gueye, even with a heavy heart,at 29,and wanting to leave,it has to happen.

Yes, his main asset was breaking up play. But he did that better than any other player in the league last season, and the three seasons before that, was behind only Kante in that regard.

Our system relied on having a player like that to be in there. Heck, it's still relying on it. We don't have the quality up top so we have to be able to get numbers forward to create stuff. To do that, you need a screener. Gana is one of the the best there is at that.
