For the type of team they are I think he’d hinder them more than help in that as well. It’d be an odd signing to say the least. He’s great for a mid table team.

Not a clue mate. Cant recall ever watching them. But the point remains, they dont need to sign players to win the French league.

While true, Kante is not great.

He's utterly fantastic and been the key player in two league winning sides and a World Cup winning side. Just because Sarri can't adjust a system that takes advantage of his skills doesn't mean he isn't good himself anymore.

It would be wrong to not give those two credit but their purple patch ended around February and Kante locked down teams for the last 3 months to get them over the line in addition to all his work for most of the season.
