I mean, this is literally an argument whether it’s okay to dehumanise people based on their genetic predisposition to be attracted to people of the same gender. It’s fairly black and white…
Once you have identified the people he dehumanised, I may concede your point.

Refusing to play a game because of a rainbow number on a shirt in protest of the LGBTQ community is pretty telling really.
Maybe you have a different definition of dehumanize than me. Also, did he say he was protesting the community? Is anything less than gushing endorsement protest against? Isn't it dehumanizing to force people to outwardly support things they don't feel?

This thread looks intellectual. What's going on in here?
Not sure since chesterblue has vacated the throne. If I understand him correctly, there is an orthodoxy that must be followed, and disagreement is not allowed obvio u sly, but if you don't wear clothing with appropriate slogans you are also guilty of wrongthink.

If you are guilty of wrongrhink, well Goebbels will come for you.

Very good. The correct sentiment I feel. Your powerful relativist position supports freedom of expression. So young DCL can wear what he likes and older Brexit voters can wear the Union Jack without fear of censure this weekend.

Hail freedom! Hail petty arguments!

I wouldn’t say having your number a different colour than usual is a ‘gushing endorsement’.

I don’t think he should be forced to wear it or even face consequences for not doing so. But freedom of thought and speech also extends to people disagreeing with him, surely?
