Yes he does but, he is not positive enough, sideways and backwards. At least this other guy has a go.
He doesn't though mate, that's my point...
(from what I've seen of him anyway)

I am basing my entire theory on the Everton Lille vid of him. 6 minutes long and he constantly looks to go forward with or without the ball. Jimmy just does not do this.
Forget how Gana played a villa, they were horrific but, consider why Koeman has been after him for a while.
We were big into "value" we'd often target free transfers, release clauses, people coming into their last year. Specificially because sometimes they presented the greatest value and good deals were there to be done.
People shouldn't just focus on him finding gems, what he did here was bring in a strategy that made us an exceptionally well run club. We always tried to get the most we could for money. With him and Pearson here I've honestly never felt like the club was in better hands as they treated every penny like it was their own.
His eye for a player, team building, the processes he'll bring on the stats / analytics sides. At the very worst, you're going to be brilliantly run behind the scenes and be ahead of the game... hence why every man and his dog wanted to poach all our staff. If you stay one step ahead and embrace new innovations, the gems will come. We were developing our own software years ago, it gave us things other didn't have... as an example.
Yep hard to argue with any of that really mate. I think Everton were quite similar under Moyes, I am not sure how much of the infastructure broke up under him but certainly at youth level we remain very well covered re scouting.
I suppose the point I was trying to make is sometimes the best player isn't always the best player for the job he's required to do. It's the opposite of the England team. Nobody can doubt they play broadly the best players on paper but rarely do any of them look to be doing a job they are a specialist for.
Jamie Vardy was the best in the league for what Jamie Vardy does. That doesn't mean he's the best striker but he was the best in the league. Likewise with Kante and you could make a similar argument as regards Albrighton. Kante is not a better CM than Pogba, but if you require him to break up play he is the best.
Gueye if he comes may be an astute buy if Koeman wants a lad who can destroy in front of the back four. Not every side does.
Got good stats like.
Secret weapon..Wont be the first time Gueye was our only summer signing.
4th official said medical yest. Could be nonsenseThere's been no sort of anything credible here other than SSN saying we have met his release clause? Who has even said he's having a medical?
