I tend to think the same thing. Stones seem unable to read and defend crosses properly, even though he does seem to have a good footballing brain. Him as a midfielder in front of the defence could be a better position for him. But, if he leaves, Ill wish him the best, but wont really care how he does, or where he playes. If he stays, it will be interesting to see what Koeman can mould him into. Ronald, on paper at least, should be the best person to coch Stones in to becoming a real force.John Hurst , and Labby what a defensive pair they were I have said it before Stones has massive potential - if he becomes any where near John Hurst he will be great!
As for others out there who knows, but Stones has a main flaw winning the ball in air on crosses, to me he would make a great defensive midfielder!
