Lucky for you guys, i have personally scouted this lad for some time.

What i can tell you is the following:

Played for a team called Aston Villa last season
He played quite a few games
He tackled in some games
Also passed in some games
He can head and kick with both feet

In summary if we get him, he is better than Cleverly, Niasse and Mcgeady all rolled into one.

For that reason i'm in.

This strikes me very much as Steve Walsh really wanting this kid. Wasn't he originally his first choice over Kante whilst at Leicester?

Dunno about first choice but Leicester were linked with him earlier in the window when Walsh was still there.

I'd be very happy with this, went about his business last season while the steaming pile around him didn't bother turning up. Defended well, interceptions, tackles, pushed forwards well when he could. He could be a very handy DM option, and a definite upgrade on McCarthy and Besic in that department.

Still, I hope he is brought in as a squad played and that we still get Big Willy.

I wouldnt object to this signing at all.

Got loads of potential, just happened to be stuck in a rubbish team who had been on a steady decline for years. He was the best player on the park when we played them last season.

I wouldnt mind Veretout from Villa either. Unlike Gueye who shone in places last season, Veretout struggled but he was highly rated before going there.

No offence mate but we are hardly experts on this lad we are being linked to

Walsh seems to have good knowledge of the French leagues and has scouted him whilst at LCFC
