And a brand new stand to house the dars. Johnson was a much maligned but maybe undervalued owner of Everton, would you swap him for Moshiri now friend?
Oh yes I would, lots on here acting like Boris Johnston burning money in poor peoples faces, look at us we are rich, at least Peter's crisp invention fed us, when has Moshiri ever sorted out my bank account the fraud

Thank you for your observation mate, I agree. Loads of Tory ostriches snorting sand from what I can see.

For what?
He's a great chairman, so much money, approving players like James, bringing in world class managers like Ancaloti, building a new stadium.
Wtf else is he meant to do short of getting the pitch and scoring goals for us?
Really not his fault our players have let us down.
Manager wants Siggurdson for 50m, chairman backs him, player flops... Who's fault?
Siggurdson for sure,
Possibly the manager for wanting him and not getting the best from him.
The chairman? No, his only fault would be In getting an unknown manager, or one known to be poor, but he's regularly gone for the best available at the time.

People need to find a different scapegoat imo.. Probably one actually playing and letting us down.
It’s not the money, I’m great full of that. But the haphazard fashionway the club is being run has left us in danger.
1. We have not signed a single player that has been a genuine success in terms of producing the goods or resale value.
2. we haven’t had a manger that has managed two full seasons.
3. Each manager has been the opposite of the previous, so we have had no defined style of play.
4. Failure and over Spending is now putting us at risk of ffp.
5. We are performing worse then we did under bill kenwright - who had less money.
6. The squad looks more unbalanced now then when he took over.
So while I’m grateful for the ambition and spending under mosh, the delivery has been a massive failure. Chasing big names - rooney, ancelotti, James - rather than looking at what the team wants and needs

Good post.

Good grief every summer under Kenwright was like this one scrambling around for bargains
Some Evertonians have very short memories.
Yes Moshiri has made mistakes but his intentions have been good.
but they were all bought with a plan of what we needed.

In fairness Johnson is a good comparison. Signing the like of kanchelskis, ferguson, amokachi - all big transfers at the time - in the early days it looked promising… then when it didn’t buy success things turned quickly. Assets sold, free transfers in, John Spencer upfront

Hes been more than generous but hes going to get the club into trouble with his complete lack of football knowledge.

Every appointment he makes goes badly and those comments he made about our fab 4 and scouting Tosun himself terrify me. Unless he stays out of all football decisions, we are in trouble.

If his appointments had gone the right way, we would (should) be challenging. He has been absolutely turned over by his choice of DOF and their choice of manager. You cannot say he hasn't tried, he has backed us more than anyone previously. I find the dislike for him embarrassing and akin to a petulant child.

Hiring the right people is a crucial part of business. If he cant do it then we won't succeed.
