If Silva is sacked - who could/should we get?

Moyes ship has sailed - if he’d got the save us from relegation call last season rather than Allardyce that may have worked. What we need now is the 2019 version of David Moyes. However for something off the wall how about Steven Gerrard?

I think that's more off your head rather than off the wall...

Been thinking about this, we are a groundbreaking club (or was in the past) lets be ground breaking again and have special guest managers each week.

Brands sorts the transfers anyway and some of the coaching stuff seems to stick around regardless so imagine how great it would be if we could have a different manager each week? There are loads of free agents out there. Pop in Joe Royle for a week against the RS, Alex Ferguson surely has a bit of time to himself these days, be really random and get some bloke in from Turkmenistan for a week (Good for that hard to break Turkmenistani market, imagine how many shirts we could sell in Ashgabat.) I reckon Maradona would do it for free.

I mean we would be foolish not to do it really. You could have votes online and everything. It works for X-Factor and stuff like that. What team will it be this week? Nobody knows! If we don't know our team how can the opposition plan for us? Pep and the boys wont know what's hit them.

Got to think outside the box sometimes people.

Jeez - he can’t even beat Rodgers!

Moyes is still the best domestic manager, ahead of Roy and Hughton. Howe is overhyped in my opinion.

The other options are lackluster. The more prominent foreign coaches in our ballpark, like Jokanovic and Bilic, have already had failure. I don’t think I could stomach seeing the waiter in the dugout for us.

Yup. I think I made my reasoning behind it perfectly clear?

And hey, maybe we could have got a manager in who could win a big game and got through to the proper Champions League instead of a glorified pre season game?

So Man U should have sacked ferguson when he got thrashed by city? Arsenal should have sacked Wenger when Man U smashed them 6 or 7 1 or whatever it was?
