If Silva is sacked - who could/should we get?

Im confused...

If you want an experienced winner with great tactical acumen who wants to win at all costs then its Mourinho or Simeone.

If you want someone with zero experience then its Arteta

If you want someone whose young and has a few years experience then its Marco Silva.

No matter who comes in we still need to sell players / wait till contracts expire over the next 3 seasons to rebuild. No matter who the manager is that is not going to change the need for time -- something both brands and silva have always said.

Virginia
Digne
Mina
Bernard
Richarlison
+Zouma/Gomes

This is a much higher quality player we are bringing in but are let down by the other half of the starting 11 every single game.

Silva needs players who suit his system -- just like Mourinho/Simeone and just like Klopp/Pep who have totally rebuilt their teams.

Going for Arteta is just a joke...he has no experience and will need to change his team just the same as Silva.

What we need to do is keep Silva in the hotseat and rebuild the next stage in the summer + see a few players out the door and then continue the process next season.

We will start to see some big changes in summer 2020 i think when some big contracts expire or only have 12 months left.
Needs 'but I want it NOW' gif

The Arteta shouts baffle me.

I see the merit in it. Not to say I agree, because it would be a huge risk, but I’d like to see what he can do.

He’s an intelligent fella and will have learned a lot under Pep (who won’t keep him on staff if he doesn’t contribute anything).

Who is the best manager of all time? SAF? If so who learned his trade under him? One Brian Kidd. And what happened to him?

There are reasons why managers are managers and coaches are coaches.

Arteta would be a huge gambol, one we cannot afford to take at the moment.

Mourinho was a translator under Bobby Robson.

The calls for another unproven manager like arteta are baffling, no idea what he's capable of other than he used to be a decent midfielder.

I thought we all wanted a proven winner?

It’s not even that I don’t like him. Like you I’d be interested to see how he does as a manager. Just not starting with us.

He just doesn’t strike me as the hard man I ideally want managing us.

Brian Kidd must have learned a lot at Utd and City. Never made it !

What do you expect him to do mate? Call Pep a bald headed dope fiend or something?
I watch quite a lot of the City home games if Everton are not playing the same day. ( only live 10 mins away from City ) If you watch him, he NEVER starts a conversation off. He,s just a yes man." Only speaks when he,s spoken to. Not a number one for a club.

So you expect him to play the big man, when hes not?

Im sorry mate but I find it baffling, you have no idea what he does.

Everytime I watch City Pep is constantly in his ear, he might not be the 1 starting the convo, but im sure he values what Arteta says and does.

This 100% doesnt mean hes a good manager like, but ive seen the same with people having a pop at Silva, saying he just stands on the touchline and does nothing, even tho hes constantly shouting and pointing. People have this idea that everybody should be like Uncle Plopp, the touchline clown.
