If Silva is sacked - who could/should we get?

We are underdogs. Even with Moshiri’s money, we are well behind Chelsea, Man Utd, City Arsenal, the RS and Spurs. In terms of attraction to players, we are about the same level as a West Ham.

We’re not even that level.

West Ham have the London factor, lest we forget their shiny new stadium too (but it’s sound because Bramley Moor opens on 14th Julember)

Yarmolenko, Lanzini and Anderson behind Arnautovic is top six quality when fully fit. Rice and Diop too, future looks good for Hammers.

We’ve been mid table rubbish for 30 years but I still hope for something better, its what keeps many of us going.
Your hero had over a decade and still failed.

Yeah it’s a pain - players don’t want to explore the provinces when they can live in the big city.

I'd quite like a manager who looked like he understood the basics of the game - putting big men on the big men for corners, putting the ball in the opposition's goal on occasion, not passing the ball left to right across the back four for 60minutes and also not repeatedly pissing goals every weekend.
Did you enjoy the togger under Allardyce ?

Just because Silva is crap doesn't mean we have to look for the polar opposite in his replacement

Depends how you define failure. His fellow managers thought he was doing a great job. I agree we hit a glass ceiling, but I don’t think he could do anything about that.

Yeah it's not 2008 anymore. I've had enough of signing managers off the back of relegations. And he has failed everywhere since he left us.

MOVE ON.
I actually think the Moyes thing is probably a non-starter, but I think you are incorrect in saying he failed everywhere post-Everton. After Man Utd he had a good first season at sociedad before it went pear shaped. He also did well at West Ham last year. I think you should be balanced in your criticism

Any suggestion for Arteta is just silly. I don’t see anything in him other than tippy tappy stuff which is totally beyond what our players is capable of. Slow ineffective dire football of the Martinez era will be recreated I’m afraid.

We simply cannot continue with coach of this style. Martinez Koeman Silva all guilty of the same slow football and yet people are still wanting and inexperience coach of the same mold.
