If Silva is sacked - who could/should we get?

It’s desperate times, dark times when blues here are mentioning Moyes and Irvine. Seriously I think he’s gotta go Silva, but I’d put Ferguson in charge till May. Not going down, clubs below are worse look at Huddersfield Fulham and Cardiff/saints. Rather Ferguson comes in for 10 games and the manager process is being reviewed from end feb till May with someone appointed in time for a unveiling at the last home game ...

I’d be happy with Moyes till end of the season he’d give some of these sh*thouses a kick up the arse and if we’re going to get another manger ffs don’t be going for another up and coming manager, we need somone who’s been there and done that, and get the the respect these up and coming mangers lose the dressing room to quickly like the last lot

The club missed the boat when they didn’t go for Julian Naglesman from hoffenheim, going to Leipzig this summer. I can see Arteta being heavily linked here.

Moyes never put much faith in youth (Barkley farmed out on loan to Leeds after one error) so it wouldn't be great news for DCL, Davies and Kenny.

Appoint him right now.

While the comment is slightly tongue in cheek, underneath it all there is a fair bit of sense. At some point all players, including young players need to be consistent. If you can't be then you will be moved on. They are not teenagers anymore and it's coming to a point where more consistency is needed. That's probably a little harsh on Kenny who has been generally ok this season, but I'm sure you get the drift.

Moyes proved at West Ham (with the most miserable fans, with a huge disconnect with the Board), that he gets results. Much maligned as a manager largely because of his hiding to nothing ManUre term.

IMO he’d get you results too, you’d play with structure, perhaps until you find someone at a higher level than Silva.

Just a view from outside.

Before I respond I’ll admit I’m Leeds fan so you may think this is me being biased but that link is pure lazy journalism. I don’t say this because I think Everton at present srent an attractive proposition, I say it because it isn’t in bielsas character to walk out for another club a) because he wants preseason to get team fit enough to carry out his methods & b) he’s an honourable bloke & sticks to his principles he doesn’t jump for the quick buck or success he’s a romantic. Now should we fail to go up there’s a bigger chance but the chances are slim at best of getting him this season

I'm just sick of what the pair of them (DCL and Davies) represent. Since they've been around the first team there's been a grim decline in quality and watching those two swan around Dubai last Feb in their floral shirts after 6 horrible months where we'd gone out of every competition and appointed Allardyce gave me all the insight I'll ever need into them. Pair of absolute teds who have been substandard garbage for us.
