I got 1 minute in.. Does he ever score?
He did. In Championship. For the second best team in the league. For the team that scored third most goals in the league. For the team with the second most shots in the league. While mostly playing as a striker. He was nowhere near the same goal threat as Ollie McBurnie, but yes, he scored.

In France he did not score much.

Whether he'll score in a tougher league, for the team likely to have the least amount of possession in the league and from a more defensive position than what he had both at Sheffield United and Marseille, remains to be seen.

Probably less of goal threat than Doucoure. Hopefully better at everything else. But I do worry Doucoure will be the one starting behind the striker if/when Everton don't score enough goals.

Ollie McBurnie is a lumbering donkey, N'Diaye is far more skillful, not quite sure what your problem with him is, but hopefully you'll support him more if he signs.

I would say no, he looks very skilful, the type that will amaze and frustrate in equal measure, his finishing is very bad.

But.

With the right coaching and high on confidence, he could take the pee

Im still 50/50.

Yes, once our attacking coaches get onto him he'll be banging them in left right and centre

McBurnie is Beto 2.0.

Hopefully Ndiaye will do well for Everton, but I don't share everyone's optimism related to this transfer. His best quality for Sheffield United was staying fit. If you play up top 46 league matches for a top team, you should rack up a good amount of goals and assists.

In France he played poorly. Marseille getting their money back after the season he had, seems too good to be true. They are happy to see him go. Even before De Zerbi had a look at him.

No fanbase writes off players before they even sign with more enthusiasm and panache than us.
For me it is not as much about writing off. More about the timing of the transfer and that we clearly are paying way too much for him.

If we had signed him last season, a year younger and at the back of a good season in the Championship, it would be entirely different than paying the same amount of money for him now after he had a very poor season.

Knowing arguably 80-90% of offensive players will look better in a team that is not managed by Sean Dyche than in a team managed by him, I am not sure if Ndiaye is the type of player we should spend so much money on.

Last season plan A, B and C was to play long balls towards DCL. Often from Pickford. Which was OK when DCL played, as his hold up play is good. He'll win headers and does more than what he'll ever get credit for. As soon DCL didn't play, the ball turned into a boomerang. We could not keep the ball and the entire team always ended up very deep.

I know that people in here mostly see Ndiaye as a 10, but both for Sheffield United and Marseille he had most of his minutes playing as a center forward. How he'll do as a 10 in Premier League is yet to be seen. What we do know is that when it comes to hold up play, winning headers and duels, he seems to be as useful as Maupay.

When Dyche would bench prime Aguero for Chris Wood, there is a big chance he'll bench Ndiaye for Doucoure.
