2024/25 Iliman Ndiaye

Can’t wait for him to get stuck out on the left and have to double up as Mykolenko’s cover all game, and then everyone to start saying he’s crap on here.
Thought he looked more dangerous out on the left. Whether through the middle or off the left, this is the kind of player the team has needed badly. Will Dyche play him though? No chance, Doucs back in the middle and McNeil on the left, guaranteed.

To be fair, he’s right. He did look much better and more effective off the left than central. In the first half, he looked weak on the ball and looked flustered when players were around him.

Did think that when watching. He's not a winger but if he's given license to drift inside it could work and give him more room to work in. Also allows more space for Mykolenko to get round the side as limited as he is with the ball. McNeil out there is just too one dimensional. Worry is what would be expected in terms of tracking back.

He wasn’t great in the first half and doesn’t look strong enough to be able to play that role in the premier league. He looked much better on the left with more space available for him. He won’t track back so that will be a problem but from last nights viewing, looked much better on the wing than playing off Beto. To be fair though, James Garner was terrible first half so getting the ball to him was a bit hard. Once he’s up to speed with his team mates, adds a bit of strength, he might do well there.

He’s the real deal. Something to look forward to, watching him play. It’s the little wins these days.

Imagine a decent winger on the end of his passes though, as opposed to Dwight McNeil doing his best impression of a turtle.

If he didn't have the likes of McNeil and Harrison around him this guy could be a serious player. Funny seeing the simple act of controlling the ball being an upgrade on Doucoure.
