Crazy that Dyche didn’t move him inside when Harrison and Lindstrom came on, he’d have scored two of the Harrison chances.
Completely agree.. Ait Nouri ripped us to bits at their place last season down that left side.. Ndiaye stuck with him defensively and kept him on his toes attacking (even though he didn't get much joy)Thought he worked really hard defensively last night. He won't always have his best days offensively, but if he's always willing to put that much effort in, he'll continue to be a cut above what we've had before
Given his shooting I'm not sure we have strikers tall enough for his crosses. Also would be nice to see Harrison on the left … he played there for Leeds mostly if I’m not mistaken ?
Might actually be able to get some crosses into the box
He scored one(pulled back), and got 2 FKs that we scored goals on because they had to hack him down, so I think he was pretty effective. He was more anonymous last night, but is certainly a player.
Because mcneill has had good games playing from the left as well as playing centrally...none playing on the right. It was the first time ndiaye played on the right for us...would be surprised if he plays there in the derbyBut instead od using his options to put his best players in there best positions he's been shunted out of two vastly inferior players, why not put McNeill on the right, he's crap wherever you play him
If we hadnt scored from those freekicks(which wasnt down to him), it would be quite different, wouldnt it? Im not complaining about him, im saying he was more anonymous than he usually is, and i think thats a fair assessment. He scored one(pulled back), and got 2 FKs that we scored goals on because they had to hack him down, so I think he was pretty effective.
I would put it more diplomatically and say he wasn't involved enough............due to other players not involving him enough. If I played in that team I would seek him out as much as possible as he is our outlet and most skilful player. He is a player that can make things happen so should be a focal pointIf we hadnt scored from those freekicks(which wasnt down to him), it would be quite different, wouldnt it? I guess it’s who Dyche thinks would be better and trying to nullify the threat of Salah.Because mcneill has had good games playing from the left as well as playing centrally...none playing on the right. Fair play, good point, and i concur.I would put it more diplomatically and say he wasn't involved enough............due to other players not involving him enough.
