2024/25 Iliman Ndiaye

Crazy that Dyche didn’t move him inside when Harrison and Lindstrom came on, he’d have scored two of the Harrison chances.

Also would be nice to see Harrison on the left … he played there for Leeds mostly if I’m not mistaken ?

Might actually be able to get some crosses into the box

Thought he worked really hard defensively last night. He won't always have his best days offensively, but if he's always willing to put that much effort in, he'll continue to be a cut above what we've had before

Completely agree.. Ait Nouri ripped us to bits at their place last season down that left side.. Ndiaye stuck with him defensively and kept him on his toes attacking (even though he didn't get much joy)

Someone underhit a pass to him in his own half but he just nudged the ball around his man and carried on.

That would've been back to Pickford or a yellow card for our other players. I wish most of them had that level of comfort on the ball, even Dycheball would be more pleasant to watch.

Mangala too, didn't crap himself when closed down, makes me wonder how the Utd match would've gone with him in midfield.

Looked a million times better when he moved back over to the left.

Don’t really want to see him on the right gain unless it’s an emergency. We’ve really neglected that right wing position for a while.

But instead od using his options to put his best players in there best positions he's been shunted out of two vastly inferior players, why not put McNeill on the right, he's crap wherever you play him
Because mcneill has had good games playing from the left as well as playing centrally...none playing on the right. It was the first time ndiaye played on the right for us...would be surprised if he plays there in the derby

He scored one(pulled back), and got 2 FKs that we scored goals on because they had to hack him down, so I think he was pretty effective.
If we hadnt scored from those freekicks(which wasnt down to him), it would be quite different, wouldnt it? :) Im not complaining about him, im saying he was more anonymous than he usually is, and i think thats a fair assessment.

I would put it more diplomatically and say he wasn't involved enough............due to other players not involving him enough. If I played in that team I would seek him out as much as possible as he is our outlet and most skilful player. He is a player that can make things happen so should be a focal point

I guess it’s who Dyche thinks would be better and trying to nullify the threat of Salah.

Think he needs to play on the left, seems much more comfortable there. Can go either way...

He will need to be on it Saturday defensively, hopefully he can have a real go attacking wise against Taa.
