2024/25 Iliman Ndiaye

Looks talented but I’ve got a sneaking suspicion we’ve Evertoned him and hyped him to the moon after a few early step overs.

Last few games I can see why he’s struggled at Marseille, lacks a bit of raw pace and decision making.
Agree with this.

Just bang average for me but prepared to give him another chance when the new manager arrives.

This all day long, we never ever learn.

Many did it with Iroegbbunamm at the start of the season too.

Any player that shows some good form its OTT, and then the same when that form drops off.....he is washed, not good enough or a fraud.

We are so bi-polar.

Truth is ALWAYS in the middle, and never as extreme.

Doing it now with the manager, calling him the worst EVER....he is clearly not.

I hoped he would have given us another option on the right side as Harrison would probably be more productive on the left but hasn’t looked exactly comfortable when he’s been used there. Just wondering Dyche actually tried him in the ten role yet?.

Bring him back from the isolated outskirts of the pitch and let him play his rightful number ten position where he thrives. He's not a winger and honestly any other team that has a modicum of attacking inclination it could still work as the full back in a team where they're instructed to go past the half way line could provide support so he doesn't get stranded

He had over a half against ten men in the number ten role and looked far worse than out wide.

In the right system ten might suit him but I don’t think we’ve got the personnel for it.

He needs a full back to work with out there to open up space.

Marseille flop on relatively small money. It's no surprise he hasn't hit the ground running.

Hardly the time to give up on him, he's playing in a team with no goals...but he's definitely been part of that, seems to run out of ideas or energy around the box.

No absolutely not, I think he could do really well here I just think the hype train clearly went into overdrive too quickly on this one.

Personally I think he's more suited to playing wide at the moment, especially in a team like ours. I think he's a really talented player but have to agree with others that people went way overboard at the start of the season, we just have to make sure people don't go overboard the other way now.

Probably because he is gooses from chasing the shadows all game and the fact that there is no one around him just DCL ahead of him to aim for so he has to try and go it alone.

Then we should give the same deference to all of the attackers, including DCL, which I know most don't.

There will be a new manager either soon or at the end of the season, we'll all find out if it's the player or the manager.

Oh I agree im not at all a DCL fan think he is bang average but the manager is certainly not helping him either
