Opposition coaches are sending 2 and 3 defenders to him when he gets on the ball. Stop Ndiaye and there’s no one else that can hurt you with the ball at their feet. Pretty simple game planning against us.

Couple that with he's always playing so deep so that when he is closed by the 3 defenders, it's usually around the half way line.

Marseille flop on relatively small money. It's no surprise he hasn't hit the ground running.

Hardly the time to give up on him, he's playing in a team with no goals...but he's definitely been part of that, seems to run out of ideas or energy around the box.
He did hit the ground running then negative tactics nullified his talents , there's a reason we didn't score a single goal in November it's not because of the players. Dyche just does not set teams up to score

I mean it obviously is because of the players to a large extent. DCL, Beto, McNeil, Lindstrom, Harrison, Doucoure and Ndiaye have a combined total of 139 PL goals in very nearly a thousand games, and about 20% of them came in a 6 month spell for DCL over 4 years ago. The tactics don't help, but the quality isn't really there either. As others have said, we should remember that Ndiaye doesn't really have an incredible career so far, we've bought him off the back of a good season in the Championship and an underwhelming one in France, some people are seemingly expecting an awful lot from him for what we paid/what he's done in the past.

Should have absolutely buried that chance, a stereotype of low confidence in our attacking play, both his and Harrison’s should have been buried
