….we’re all chuffed to see a player who can control the football and go past opposition players but we’ve been set a very low bar. £16m paid, he should be the benchmark not the best we can hope for.

Have a feeling he'll thrive under Moyes, seems very a la Pienaar. He's been the shining light in a dull season at times and hopefully Moyes can get him kicking on even more.

He is good at running with the ball. And to win free kicks.

He might be quick at running, but often slow down the attack by using too many touches.

His finishing seems under average.

His passing is all over the place. Doucoure-esque. The vast majority of passes is behind the target, overhit, bouncing around or comes knee high. Just about good enough to get him decent pass completion stats, but never allowing whoever he pass a ball to to continue without eiter stopping or taking an extra touch. It kills whetever rhytm and flow our attacking play has (not much to be fair).

I still remember his beutiful assist from the last international break. A perfectly weighted pass. Still waiting to see that side of his game in an Everton shirt.

I'll give him one thing. His work rate and defensive output has improved massively since the start of the season.

By all means, I get why many rate him, but I also get why Marseille were very happy to get their money back after having him a year. Palace getting Ismaila Sarr from Marseille for less money seems have gotten the better deal.

The trouble he has and slowing down attacks as you say is …. As he is carrying the ball …. None of our players keep up with him so he has to slow it down and wait for support.

His passing is also effected by the fact doivoure, DClL and Harrison have the collective football IQ of forest gump….

Doucs will run behind players, run offside and I’ve even seen him literally following the man with the ball and looks like he’s chasing an opposition player and about to tackle , he’s that close …. I remember him running straight across the front of someone on the edge of the box just as they’re about to shoot …

Harrison isn’t quick enough to keep up with the attack

DCL is either offside , not arsed or is pulling up his left side of his shorts to flash his quads .

Judging Ngaiy with this set of players around him is not fair imo

I’d rather have him than Doku from city …
