Drenthe has some piennar has some, then thats it. Osman on occassion but tonight reminded me why ossie and hibbert became squad players when we were good.

Yet there's still people having a go at moyes for tonight and every time we play actually....Expecting that we should be beating arsenal?? Why??

And say out loud that, for my money, our football under Moyes is the worst I've ever seen.

Worse than some of the latter-day Kendall stuff, worse than under Walt. Hell, it's more dire than even Mike Walker conjured up.

Pedestrian, negative, lacking any cutting edge and it's not only one-dimensional, it's paper thin.

They tried, just not good enough! Were all huff and no puff. Without some cash for fresh faces there is not much moyes can do

Pienaar's returned. We have Jelavic, Drenthe and Stracqualursi on loan, and Gibson on the sidelines. I'm not totally convinced that our football would change that much with new players. I'm sure it's the training methods. Simple things like movement off the ball, quick tempo, and working opportunities to get shots on target has been non-existent during Moyes' reign.

What about the sides we are "better" than? We have been shambolic for a couple of seasons now. The defending last night was an absolute disgrace in parts. And he can bugger off taking off Drenthe again, especially whilst bringing on a target man at the same time.

I think we were decent for most of last night. We lack quality in depth so changing a game from the bench is always a difficult task. I did however feel that at the end of the game we had too many tall people fighting for the same balls in the box and I would've preferred McFadden on instead of Anichebe. It's also worth noticing that Fellaini is a really poor finisher, but I guess it's understandable as he doesn't get played up that often.

Movement is sadly lacking...Sometimes it is like watching statues trying to wade through the sinking sands of southport beach. Arsenal and other teams always seem to have someone available to accept a pass. I was taught at an early age. "PASS N MOVE" FFS.

We may get a goal from a corner or freekick, and spend the rest of the game, in the huff and puff kind of way.

This is my argument at the moment. ALL of our players have come through accademies playing football.

Ryan Shawcross did not come through Man United's system elbowing and tackling at knee high level, Delap did not get to a Prem level player, by taking long throws for the under 12's. Its Pullis making them play how he wants them.

Likewise with us now, every 1 of our players CAN play football, yet we are led to beleive we dont have the resources to play the type of football people really want to see. Its not like Moyes has spent 0 on wages and players, and has just taken 20 playes from the nearest pub side.
