Is Sam that bad?

Well yes employing Koeman and Walsh was their first mistakes, but employing Allardyce on a SOS call in bleedin November was embarrassing. To think this fat mess has come in and saved us from relegation I simply won’t have,

Calling him a fat mess to strengthen your argument is not a valid point.

The fact is he is the manager and we are not getting relegated which was a possibility back in November.

Calling him a fat mess only strengthens the argument because he is. Any half decent manager could have come in and done what this pint of wine drinking beaut has done and probably more

Let's not forget Everton and west ham were in deep deep trouble we were going to be relegated the way we were playing under koeman seriously.there was no fight and no idea of who should play or how we should play.unsworth gave us abit of fight back tried his best in a disaster situation.big Sam has came in halfway through season got us back up the league in a disaster situation.we should be relieved and curious of what's next instead of being disappointed.i believe Genk tosun was moshiris signing I may be wrong but that's the impression I got from moshiris interview.walcott is a great signing, good quality player who will strengthen our side rather than other recent signings.we may park the bus in games and get dismantled when trying to play open football but we have picked up points from what looked impossible from the garbage football we started the season with.im lookin forward to seeing what Sam's team will do after a pre season and some more additions in the summer.yes arsenal first half was terrible and decisions of starting line up made us all angry,we create our own problems by giving teams the ball example west Brom never tackled us for the ball we were giving them the ball passing to players marked under pressure when we had time and space to do what we wanted.low confidence and a lack of quality on the whole bar a few players.lets get to the end of the season and accept were not strong enough physically to out strengthen teams we haven't got the striker yet so we're just gonna have to get what points we can right now

100% Tuchel would have been a better option. The gravy guzzler is here for a payday and nothing more. Absolute stain on this club

Moshiri:

"Thomas, you know how you managed Dortmund in the Champions League, getting to the Quarter Final with players like Aubemeyang, Reus and Gotze and won a trophy there...Well how does managing Everton FC sound".

Tuchel:

"Errr..."

Moshiri

"Unfortunately we're not doing too well this season, we're 17th and all but out of the Europa League, having failed to beat Limassol and Atalanta but you can come and work with Cuco Martina and Ashley Williams, and I guarantee that we are ambitious and ready to challenge the top 6 in the next few years. The North West of England is like the Hollywood of Football and we want you to be part of it"

Laughable.

After the mess Koeman and Unsworth had put us in, and the spineless efforts of our first team squad, sadly Big Sam Allardyce was the best we could realistically get in the circumstances and he has done a a solid enough job.

If he can get us a top 10 finish, we may have a chance of possibly attracting a better calibre of manager in the Summer, but to think we'd have brought in some of the names suggested on here at the time is deluded given the position we were in.

If you ever ask the question then remind yourself of this

We drew with west Brom twice under him and didn't attack in either game.

20th place west Brom

Like 1 or 2 wins in 20 odd games west Brom.

So yes, yes he is

Like 20th placed West Brom who went to Anfield and beat a Liverpool side with Firmino, Mane and Salah in it? That West Brom?

That does not matter all about the game on the day. BFS did badly against the Baggies and Bournemouth when we should have had some points!

Add to that the crap team selection, tactics and play against Arsenal. Seriously think BFS has no idea how to orchestrate attacking football or win games!

In the same way Burnley was a reality of getting a champions league place! It wasn’t going to happen was it. We were in a terrible run of form and shot of confidence but we was never getting relegated.[/QUOTE]

Off the top of my head, Managers better fitted to manage Everton Football CLub than Sam Allardyce - Thomas Tuchel, Sean Dyche, David Moyes (feel a bit sick saying that), Swanseas new manager, all better options

Sean Dyche - Allardyce clone who would of demanded a four/five year contract. David Moyes - Had his time walked out on the club and tried to rob Baines and Fellaini off us. Tuchel - pie in the sky. Swansea manager - nobody had heard of him 6 weeks ago and jury is out on that one.

Or, we aren't that far away from Europe and I'll back you in the transfer window. Also here's £6 million a year
