Ever go to LOI? Waterford United or Cork City?

I used to go a good bit when I was younger but don't see much anymore. I still remember our great cup run. Was there for the whole our whole cup run a few years back. Pity we lost in the final though. Haven't got the money as a poor student to be going supporting Cork City and I wouldn't go supporting the langers anyway. Waterford have been pretty [Poor language removed] the last few seasons and didn't like all the [Poor language removed] that happened a few years back with the board so stopped going. Getting relegated from the Premier Division two years running is also not fun to watch I'm sure. You a big Boh's fan yourself?? They seem to be trying to advertise the LOI mad now on RTE but never actually watch it. There calling it Monday Night Soccer (or MNS as they like to call it) now which I think is a major rip-off of Sky.

i suspect elements of religion not being as popular and mainstream as they once were might have an effect on the current consciousness.

I remember being told Rangers have a hatred for Everton which would make Everton a catholic Club in Rangers' supporters eyes.

I am a non practising catholic but my Father was a protestant and I follow Everton because he did and I have never regarded Everton as a catholic club. As the club developed from St Domingos which was a Methodist Boys Club I see Everton as neither catholic nor protestant just as a football club.

As for The [Poor language removed]'s so called supporters they are whatever they feel like being on the day and would cause trouble in an empty room so I don't give them nor their opinions too much head space.

How does this work for Man Utd and Man City, Villa and Birmingham, Bristol Rovers & Bristol City, Newcastle & Barcelona D), etc

RBJ, much as it may surprise you mate but you are normal. I just thank God that sectarianism is at long last dying out. My family were Catholics and in the main supported the [Poor language removed], our parish priest was a big blue and was Bishop Murphy and the local vicar. It matters not a jot, even the history of both clubs wrapped up in the Orange order is now just that, history and this old world is better off for it.

Just think the [Poor language removed] will become Islamic shortly any way so who cares
