Completely different types of striker. Perez is a pacy player who creates space for others with his movement off the ball, Belfodil is your bread and butter big target man. Would say Perez is the better goalscorer anyway.

I wouldn't say it's a fairly low price. Even in the current market £10m+ is a significant amount.

10m won't get you Ryan Mason in todays market

Well I'll tell you what Dave finishing 7th compared to 11th is about 8m so if it makes you feel any better that will cover the cost of Lookman

Probably as many as had heard of mahrez or kante or gueye before they arrived mate.

You wanted Walsh to do what he does best, well here you go, lookman for 7.5m and this lad is him doing that.

This team needs a keeper, centreback, creative midfielder, and a backup striker as a minimum, and that's if Koeman is happy with Mirallas Deulofeu Lennon Lookman and Bolasie as wide options (he's probably not). We may be over paying but the squad is a mess. Lukaku and Gueye are our only players of top 6 quality on current form.

Why Koeman can't get a tune out of Del and Barkley I don't know.

I agree. My departure point is the fees paid and the urgency of rushing through with deals right now.
