Had a bad season i read - apparently this season he has been really good - scored a worldie of a free kick the other week - Typical steve walsh signing only other one was gana who every moaned about so ill trust his instincts.

Indeed. This guy could be utterly woeful....but there's just as much chance he's another Mahrez. If we are to embrace Steve Walsh then we should get used to these sort of signings. Not all will work out. But some gems will be found.
