I think he poses a low risk high reward sort of deal, as said by many it screams of walsh.
If it comes off and he does well, then a bargain at 10 million. If he isn't very good then in the market 10 million now isn't a massive loss and we could probably recuperate at least half of it back anyway.
just a case of waiting and seeing if we do the deal and then to see him play for us.

Ishak Belfodil (Arabic: اسحاق بلفوضيل; born 12 January 1992)[1] is an Algerian footballer who plays as a striker for Belgian club Standard Liège and the Algeria national team.
. he is a CF that can play as a lone striker. He is a big guy. 1.93 (6'3").came from the OL football academy. Pretty good passer for his size. Was a wonder kid in the 2012/2013 season. And after that he signed with inter in the same time as icardi. Never had an amazing goal scoring record in his career. He did not have enough chances in his time with inter. Did not score for a long time there and for parma after he rejoined them. Had some bad career choices and ended up in the UAE with baniyas. Played for a season and had a good record with them. Then he left for the Belgium league and had a pretty good 6 months. The fans seem to like him. He had the potential but, his coach in parma (if I remember correctly) was calling for him to put more hard work because his talent was too big for him to be just a run of the mill striker. I am sure if he had a chance to go back in time he would do things in a deferent way. Don't mistake that for a bad attitude. He never started problems and he pretty much kept to himself.
Now, let's talk about why he was chosen as a target for Everton. For me at least, I always thought that he is a modern day CF (a la griezmann/icardi...etc..) But was stuck in a target man's body and lately he seemes to except that. He put on some weight and worked on his finishing. He is faster then he looks and like I said before, he has a good pass on him for a big guy. He can do what lukaku can't. And that is linking up between the midfield and wide players. That is his best trait. Can get you goals and assists but I know that the reason he is wanted is to free up lukaku. He (lukaku) will thrive with belfodil because ishak is OK with doing the dirty work. And he can get the ball up and has a good first touch.
All I ask is to give him time to adjust. People need to know that he will not be brought in for goals. He is wanted here to do the "troy deeney" work. Which is. Get some goal. Get some assists. Be a big body in the box. But, your most important role is to link up and to support the main striker.
A belfodil-lukaku due will be a nightmare for defenders. Big guys with pace are always good in the PL
