It's A F****** Disgrace

F..k 'em. Pots and kettles and all that. Iwas watching the game in a bar full of Spaniards and I jumped up and punched the air when Iniesta equalised. Over the two legs Chelsea were tactically perfect. Tha fact that Barca didn't have a shot on target during the 90 minutes last night speaks columes for the defensive set up. Having said that, Barcelona have played the best football I've ever seen this season and I want them to win the CL.

Thats why soccer is so ace.

Great composure under huge pressure that from Iniesta.

Wanted Chelsea to win like, so they were goosed for the final. Its sound, we'll still have them.

Tony Cascarino made a good point on Sky Sports News earlier [apologies if someone has already mentioned this somewhere] but Drogba limped off barely able to walk and then come the final whistle was running and jumping about all over the place chasing the referee! If he was able to do that, then he should have been on the pitch.

he's a ****.

I hate him. I hate the fact he has a great job, but he continues to behave like a ****.

Fouls and misconduct are penalised as follows:
Direct Free Kick
A direct free kick is awarded to the opposing team if a player commits
any of the following seven offences in a manner considered by the
referee to be careless, reckless or using excessive force:
• kicks or attempts to kick an opponent
• trips or attempts to trip an opponent
• jumps at an opponent
• charges an opponent
• strikes or attempts to strike an opponent
• pushes an opponent
• tackles an opponent
A direct free kick is also awarded to the opposing team if a player
commits any of the following three offences:
• holds an opponent
• spits at an opponent
handles the ball deliberately (except for the goalkeeper within his
own penalty area)

A direct free kick is taken from the place where the offence occurred
(see Law 13 – Position of Free Kick).
Penalty Kick
A penalty kick is awarded if any of the above ten offences is committed
by a player inside his own penalty area, irrespective of the position of
the ball, provided it is in play.

The law states quite clearly the handball has to be deliberate. And as much as putting your arms out means there is a good chance the ball will hit them i'd really have a hard time calling either handball incident "deliberate handball" as per the laws of the game. He didn't deliberatly hit the ball with his arm so no foul.

The Malouda incident wasn't a foul anyway, was 50/50 and i assume the ref gave a free kick because thats where he deemed the original offense took place, and playing an advantage to allow Malouda the chance to run towards goal when no advantage occured he pulled it back.

Only one i'd say was a penalty was Drogba's because the shirt pull was a foul and even though it didn't cause him to go down the slight leg trip did. Yeah he went down easy but there was still a foul. But i can see why the ref didn't give it.

As i can see why he didn't give any of them. Doesn't matter how many replays we see the ref saw it from one angle and called it how he saw it. And none of the incidents did he get it 100% wrong. Thats the nature of human referees, they get one chance to call it how they see it and its understandable how he called it how he did knowing the rules of the game and the fact he is human.

Robbed my ass!

Drogba has no bottle.

He shows it time and time again.

Could be an excellent player, but - as someone else as already said - he does not have the mental attributes to be a truly great player.

if we were in chelsea's position and those handballs weren't called, i doubt any of our players would have even reacted, we've been screwed worse and reacted less.

the sky 4 are used to being pampered by the FA, one time they don't get their way and they go up in arms. Ballack chasing after the ref for not giving what i would have never called a handball? he's lucky not to get sent off, or booked at the very least for that sort of outburst, maybe if he'd stayed focused on the game instead of looking for the ref to gift it to him he could have given his team another chance.

and what about the quintessential professional john terry going up to the ref to yell at him after the game? didn't get nearly as much press after drogba's hilarious outburst, but still i can't believe these experienced players would behave like this, i'd be embarassed if vaughan rodwell and gosling acted like that, but i think even at their young ages i think they'd have more sense.

i agree with the OP, drogba is a ******* disgrace, i knew it before but now i have a tape of him cursing at me in the camera to prove it

Agree totally with all of that.

John Terry has also said the way Drogba has re acted is totally understandable and will back him up. If your on facebook there are plenty of groups where all the fans are now saying its ok he did it. Some have even got his e-mail address and are sending him death threats, the same people who quote Terry saying its ok to react like they did. If it is understandable like Terry said, then why did all 11 Chelsea players not react the exact same way. Lamps actually questioned the ref in a way it should be done, then did the interview after which didnt help though!

I actually feel sorry for Chelsea for the way it happened, but they just can not do what they did. Can you honestly ever see another teams players actually doing that other than Chelsea? I cant, and it has to be said the reactions never surprised me. Chelsea were massively hard done by, but it happens get over it, theres no conspirecy theory as some players have claimed. I just think the teams reaction has done some serious harm to the game and Respect Programme and therefor they should be punished quite severly. All this before we start talking about Drogbas on field antics!

Even if I don't like the guy and it has probably been said before. Frank Lampard was the model professional.........Drogba was a disgrace , but what do you expect from egotistic prima donnas.....

Reports are saying he's bang on for a Uefa ban. Whether than means he'll be banned from Champs League next season, our just the remaining domestic football games (which I think will happen otherwise whats the point?), who knows?.

The PFA spokes people agree he should be banned. So hopefully no FA Cup final for him.

It is a UEFA matter really so unless the FA step in over Drogba's antics, he will most likely feature in the Cup Final. His argument would be that the incident did not occur on the domestic front and that he should recieve no punishment by the FA. Action should certainly be taken against him and not forgetting Michael Ballack, but knowing the rules for the so-called Big Four, his punishment would be lessened in time.
