It's A F****** Disgrace

All down to opinions. Personally would have liked Chelsea playing a Champions League final 3 days before. Think would have given us a bit of an advantage, even if anything, the potential of an injury to a key player like Essien.

If the Champions League final went to extra time and pens as it did last year, and then the FA Cup final went to extra time, we would of had the legs on them.

I would like to think we could still beat them after our nil nil with them the other week when we created more chances than Barca did tonight.

It's a pretty thin desire though mate. I don't think your going to see that much difference if Chelsea were in the CL or not.

Remember 99, Man U never lost any impetus in any of their quests.

Yes but sadly we did in 85.

Clearly it would have been in our best interests for Chelsea to play another final 3 days they play us. If nothing else a few players could have picked up knocks and then theres all the traveling and stuff.

Now they can spend a few days at Home and prepare to win the only trophy that they have left.

6-0 Chelsea.

Anyway, can we return to the topic. Didier Drogba is a disgrace. He is a cheat, he is a hypocrite, he has a very high opinion of himself and this gets in the way of his ability. Scumbag and would not be disappointed to see him out of the Premier League.

Still dont think it was a penalty though mate. Wellbeck kicked his own heel then rolled over about six times. Both players came together through momentum and yes, i have seen them given for less but it still was not as clear cut as many believe.

I still think that was a peno. Jags ****ed up and tried to get the ball back that we was never going to win, clipped the player, missed the ball. Peno.

Going of track a bit though Bruce. As you rightly said, Barca do it equally as much.

The ref denied blatant pens, yes? - and cost Chelsea the final.

Thats the story of the game for me.

I don't think you can take that approach, I really don't. In football one thing you can't control is the ref. I'm sure many United fans will say the Jags decision cost them a place in the final but that overlooks their failure to score, the decision to pick a weakened team, missing penalties etc.

Chelsea were knocked out to a last minute goal. It's galling, as is losing on away goals (not something I've ever been too fond of) but it happens. If you want to remove chance from the equation then you have to do so. Arsenal were awarded a dodgy penalty last night but United were so good it didn't matter. Chelsea weren't.

Dont like him either Ghost. Ballack reacted just as bad though

He did, but he didn't swear on Live television and act like a spoilt child all night when he never got what he wanted.

He went down easily today for a peno, when if he had stayed on his feet (Like Pienaar did) he may have scored (Like Pienaar did).

The more I look at it, the more I think it wasn't.

Drogba though, needs to have a long look at himself, the ref made some very poor decisions, but his reactions were something to be expected by an ill-disciplined child.

The worst stomach cramps I ever witnessed in my life, the worst pain I can ever recall for something like 5 hours untill I managed to fall asleep. Very strange. Still feel a bit whooooooooooooooa.

So anyway, what happened? Chelsea got robbed with some nailed on pens, then Barca scored last minute, then Chelsea went loco?

To be fair I would like to think if some ref ****ed me over in a Semi Final I would not let the little blind mans bluff get away with it.

Well I did receive a 10 year ban from Sunday League for it, harsh but fair, the **** had it coming all game tho. Shot down in my prime.

I would be utterly pissed if that refereeing happened to us in the cup semi-final. That being said Moyes wouldn't have been stupid enough to bench there best player and only striker AGAINST 10 MEN. Belletti isn't even a good defender.

Hiddink is a very good manager but lucky for him he doesn't get bashed for his awful team selections and subsitutions in big matches. This is the same guy who left Cahill on the bench against Japan til like the 70th min (becasue natually Cahill wasn't good enough). Benched Swartzer in Aussies biggest match ever (at the time) against Croatia for some keeper named Spider-Guy or something who went ahead and put the most inept performance of a keeper I ever saw.

Feel bad for Lampard and Essien but Drogba and ref arm grabber Terry deserve this.
