Peeps calm down !! The pipes burst but the problem isn't really the pitch its the showers, public toilets , catering side etc ! All knackered due to no water supply. Would have been a nightmare with 40,000 people there. I for one am not too bothered today as I'm thinking 3 points at West Ham on Tuesday now then the destroying of Birmingham at home will keep until some new faces ride in to L4 !! Everton don't do 3 games in 6 days very well so I reckon this might help us as we've also got Stoke and Spurs to come !

There, Ive tried to be positive about us , which at the moment LCAB will vouch for is a big thing for me !! Haha

DING DING DING DING! The man hit the nail square on the head. Didn't like the idea of that many games in such a short period of time with injuries and what not. Gonna miss not seeing the boys today, but all is well.

Ian Ross just said on Radio Merseyside the pitch was playable (unaffected) but running water was no go for three stands. Questions: who wants a cup of tea on Boxing Day, and who ever has a [Poor language removed] at the match? As for washing your hands after a slash...I cant remember seeing anyone ever doing at the game....you pick up worse off the taps.

Outrageous decision on that basis.

Water for players, match officials, etc?

Too bad. Guess i'll have to come up with something better to do, which is right hard in the christmas time. Which is why i love the boxing day games, really are perfectly timed footy entertainment to wake one's senses up after a christmas food gore-fest.

Oh well.

I did enjoy Ian Ross's slight dig during his phone-in interview with talkSport this morning. Whilst explaining that due to our ground being one of if not the oldest stadium in the country and this was always going to happen due to her age and old pipe work - "This wouldn't of happened if we moved to Kirkby !" - very subtle, Mr Ross..very subtle :)

Plus. some douche moaned on the wireless that we should of had a contingency plan in effect, such as portable toilets available ! This would involve a mass exodus pouring out into Bullens Road,Glawdys Street and Goodison Road and then having to herd people up and down the stairs - And where would people wash their hands or get a brew ? lovely :(

It wouldn't have been built yet. He's not very bright, to be fair.
