Can you please summarise; that's a lot of words...

Thanks

Dyche told you this did he mate? lol
No but if McNeil is fit, he showed last season he can provide quality down the left. He isn’t going to shift him from his preferred position when the improvement in quality would be negligible but would weaken us on the right.

Jack Harrison at Leeds should be considered

I said I wanted him back in December, so I'm happy with this signing. I've always thought he would be a good fit for Everton and would add balance from being left sided. But how successful the deal will be is going to be dictated a lot by how bad his injury is.

If he is back at some point in September then the deal will be worth it. If it takes 2-3 months for him to be deemed fit by Dyche then the deal becomes a lot more risky. My concern would be mainly around the levels of fitness needed for Dyche to consider a player for selection. If he is only fit in 3 weeks, then he might need a month's training, and we are in mid October. Let's hope he's available after the next international break.

Dyche prefers to play crap players who are super fit, than good players who have satisfactory fitness levels.

Think he suits our style of play more than Gray. Works hard, direct and chips in regularly with goals and assists. Getting him for no outlay and being able to sell Gray for £10 million or more is smart business. I never thought I’d type that sentence in relation to Everton’s transfer dealings.
