I'd be wary of committing to long contracts for these types of players until the ownership issue is resolved.

He'd start every week under Dyche, but then likely end up being another expensive substitute under the sort of manager that proper owners would want to appoint.
So Dyche has not done a good job? And in addition why can we know he could not do a better job with funds...

Harrison is the exact type of player whos good to have in the squad, as a backup and fill-in. Capable, will work hard. Hes not worth it as your #1 option. Bringing him back cheap on loan and then finding a starting RW would help a lot.

Would he come back though if that was the role? This season bar some games in Feb and March he's started pretty much every game. I think if he comes back on loan again it will be the same role as this season as first choice until he plays himself out of the team as he did in those months. If it's a warming the bench role he can just go back to Leeds and do that if they come back.

What can't be happening next season though is when that happens it's Young or that type of defensive player in final third. Desperately have to sign a young player with pace who can play there.

Need atleast two wingers if we do buy him it will because dyche wants him as a starter. I would still be after another two even if he does come as we badly need options out wide

Leeds look like they could come back up I know they have no choice but to take him back he was loaned
but do their fans want him back jumped ship when they went down then comes back when they get back in the big time
got nothing against this lad he played a part (small part) in keeping us in the league he could be in a tricky situation

The real test for leeds will be in the playoff final against probably Southampton...both teams are close really and it could be a 50 50 situation. I am sure they will be hoping for west brom to do the job tonight, as they know fairwell that there is a significant gap between leeds/Southampton and the rest of the championship.

Shhhhhh, dont tell him...

Would have to be very cheap loans if Harrison is actually signed permanently given the scant resources so that to me is likely to be young players without much experience.

I'd rather send Harrison back to Leeds but it does feel they'll be a serious attempt to get him back given the state the club is in so sole reason is continuity of selection from this season.

He was excellent for them under Bielsa for 2-3 years so given how nostalgic their fanbase remains for that era I don't think there's that much animosity towards him.

Put it this way if there was a choice between warming the bench here or at Leeds he'd just go back there.

If he's coming back for a second loan spell he'll be starting most games like this season just gone.

tbh as good or bad as he is or we think he is

we’re scruffs.

so a loan is needed

So then go buy a young winger at 8m, on a 3 year deal at 50k per week. Thats still more expensive than bringing him back on loan as a 1 year rental while you find your long term solution.

Why calculate a young player on a 3 year deal in comparison to Harrison on a 1 year loan?

After the year, someone needs paying and/or replacing.
