Was hoping his “injury” might be more a case of not wanting a real injury before securing a move? Hopefully the Nut leaked to Villa his penis was on upside down or something.

Lots of his YouTube highlights (the ones that show all the near misses and the near assists for 20 mins before the actual goal contributions) show him picking the ball up centrally a surprising amount. Interesting.

If he does nothing else, having players like him in the squad mean McNeil would have to keep his levels very high. Dwight doesn’t seem the type to be happy as a bench jockey, but he’s been here a year so the rot might start to set in soon the longer he hangs round with some of those we can’t sell for buttons.

Joking aside, when everyone is fit, there will be definitely games where we have a wide forward player on the bench that we’d be more than happy as a starter. First time in ages those positions won’t be selected by default.

Pity he’s not available, but I’d call this a very shrewd signing given the prices to buy players outright at the moment.

Our fans are hilarious. 'Could be 6 weeks' 'oh well it's 6 months and Kenwright is going to smack him with his car!, Everton that'

It’s mad that the club announced him a few days ago, but there’s been no interviews or media stuff yet.

Waiting for the salty Leeds fans to calm down or something?

Hopefully it won't be a recurring one. I see from his injury history on transfermarkt that he was only injured twice before at Leeds for a day at a time. Only one other injury and that was a hip injury when he was at NYCFC that kept him out for 77 days...

This injury is his hip too.

Does say this at the bottom of his signing article on the Everton website which they don’t normally write so sounds like it was always intended to not be immediate.

“Don’t miss Everton Club channels this week for the first interview with Harrison after joining the Blues.”

A number of stories now on his release clause, if true smart business on our budget.

Leeds will receive no loan fee for Harrison

Good Morning. It's Tuesday 16th August, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road...

No loan fee for Harrison

It has been revealed that the stipulations of Jack Harrison's contract mean Everton do not have to pay Leeds a loan fee for his services. They triggered the relegation clause in his contract merely by picking up the phone to his agent, and can return him back to Elland Road once the're done with him.

He joined Leeds back in 2018 from Manchester City, but spent the first three years on loan, for which Leeds paid £9m. Although powerless to stop him, the club's lay down and die attitude doesn't sit right with the Leeds fans and rightly so.

Given how Everton have blatantly disregarded financial fair play rules, for Jacko to go to Goodison Park shows a total lack of respect towards both the club and it's fans. Shame on Luke Ayling, Patrick Bamford and Junior Firpo for publicly wishing him well at Everton.
