2023/24 Jack Harrison

A number of stories now on his release clause, if true smart business on our budget.

Leeds will receive no loan fee for Harrison

Good Morning. It's Tuesday 16th August, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road...

No loan fee for Harrison

It has been revealed that the stipulations of Jack Harrison's contract mean Everton do not have to pay Leeds a loan fee for his services. They triggered the relegation clause in his contract merely by picking up the phone to his agent, and can return him back to Elland Road once the're done with him.

He joined Leeds back in 2018 from Manchester City, but spent the first three years on loan, for which Leeds paid £9m. Although powerless to stop him, the club's lay down and die attitude doesn't sit right with the Leeds fans and rightly so.

Given how Everton have blatantly disregarded financial fair play rules, for Jacko to go to Goodison Park shows a total lack of respect towards both the club and it's fans. Shame on Luke Ayling, Patrick Bamford and Junior Firpo for publicly wishing him well at Everton.

So we show disrespect to Leeds because they inserted a clause into the contract of their player and we’re at fault for activating it

This wont help us try and extract Gnonto.

Never heard of this fella until last season's relegation battle. First time I ever took notice was when somebody on this forum mentioned, in passing, as one does, "I bet that Harrison smells nice."

It takes all types.
😂😂

I think he’ll do well at Goodison if he stays direct. Looks the type to get a yard and get the cross or shot in. Sick of people getting that yard, then dragging the ball back and trying to beat the same defender again while the entire opposition walks calmly back into position. Then falling over the ball and stabbing it back to Myko.

Must be a bit weird being repeatedly asked who great it is to finally be a great club like Everton, when there is every possibility you have to crawl back next summer. Great to have Goodison on my side etc etc etc. instead of being booed. Oh naive child.
