I've looked, I can't find anything about paying off in 2005, I did find a statement by Elizabeth Taylor though saying that she was there at the time of the alleged molestations watching Walt Disney movies with jackson and the kids, and a comment from a doctor in the trial who said that Jackson didn't fit the image of a paedophile and has regressed to the mental state of a 10 year old, which could explain why he chose to invite kids round.
