Ah, there we go.
The only reason Michael Jackson didn't live out the rest of his life behind bars is because he payed the fella to not say anything.
It's not a secret, it's well known.

Using your logic, why did the kid (or his family) settle out of court instead of letting it go to trial and the truth being there for all to see and the alleged abuser facing justice?
Especially if they weren't out for money. They got their out of court settlement and big money so were happy.
The fact he did go to trial on a second case lends more weight to the suggestion that he was innocent on the first case.

if inocent i would have fought the first tooth and nail! and sued the pants off of this bloke!
The book written by the father of his alleged victim, the one who would of profitted from the lie?
I'd of thought if Jackson really was guilty he would of offered cash to the Chandler family a lot earlier and tried to stop them going public in the first place (don't know if he did or not but i'm not aware of that happening).
Waiting till it got as far as it did then settling does not automatically indicate guilt. To me it shows someone who while innocent of the allegations against him still didn't for whatever reason wish to be exposed in a court of law. I'm pretty sure Jackson wouldn't of wanted his whole life dissected in public because it certainly doesn't seem to be "normal" and he knew that. But again thats not guilt of paedophilia.
Same for not suing Raymond Chandler. He probably just wanted to get on with his life, the damage to his reputation had already been done so he had to just dismiss it and move on.
I don;t know the full story any more than you do (or pretty much everyone else), i'm just looking at the evidence i know of and making my decision. I could be wrong, he could be guilty as hell.
I think it is sad that a legend has lost his life at such a young age, but what also saddens me is some of the disrespectful comments on this thread about him. He suffered abuse at a young age which affected him in later life. How people can make jokes about the dead is beyond me. Love him or hate him, if you have nothing nice to say about the fella, then say nothing at all unless you wish to continue to speak ill of the dead.
Michael Jackson, may you Rest in Peace.
sicko!
