IF you consider Everton a business then probably the right decision is to part ways or restructure Barry's contract. I am not saying Barry is worthless i am saying he is worth less.
In footballing terms though our squad is very thin as it is so after binning all the inevitables you think it wise to sell our POTY? I'm not saying build the team around him next season but he's an invaluable asset for the club with all the academy players becoming more involved. Do you think Davies and Dowell would have faired as well without Barry on Sunday? He'd be very far down on my list of people to sell this summer.
People also need to remember it's a tournament summer so the window will be more hectic and we don't want to leave ourselves majorly short come August.
