I think that would be a bad back 3 and I don't really think you can accomplish what Dyche wants by removing a midfielder.

I reckon it will be tried, for sure, whether thats the thinking, im not convinced, I think they realise we got really lucky with Tarks and Branners not missing many games last season and they wanted a plan.

I think with the players we currently have, it would be our best bet. 343 or 3421 with the wingbacks overlapping would make tons of since especially with the acquisition of Lestrom and Ndiaye- they can both sit behind the striker and McNeil Garner can be used for width while Gana and DOUCS/whoever provides the cover.

Again, that is all depending on if our boy O’Brien comes in guns ablazin. He may take time. 20 mil is a lot for a backup no matter how you look at it especially with our holes to fill. If 3 at the back is not the plan, we absolutely have to bring in fullbacks.

Well, it was 3 CBs, with Lescott at LB. Dyche doesn’t love his FBs attacking though, so wouldn’t be surprised to see him go one step further.
