He was obviously sent on to stop goals which he did against England he would probably have done the same against Bournemouth

This Ireland team is full of Championship standard players mate, the rest are bottom half Prem quality at best.

I don't think its that odd, Collins is an undisputed starter for Ireland while Coleman & O'Shea are better suited to the wider CB position having both played FB.

In a back 4 I think he has a much better chance at starting.

About players being subs for Ireland? If that sends you into a rage you need to seriously look at altering your perspective to something more healthy

Should be starting ahead of Kalamity Keane for us.

Might be a bit rough around the edges and has things to learn, but I’d take him starting over a proven failure any day.

Not even just that with the amount of goals the team has let in you would think be open to change it but no.

….I think we’re seeing why Dyche doesn’t start him even if I’d start him myself. I think Dyche needs to trust a player before starting him, I have no issue with Keane starting at this moment, it’s up to O’Brien to deserve his place.

….he doesn’t look ready to me, I suspect that’s why he’s not yet a starter for Ireland. You could see the difference with Branthwaite, so a bit unfair to think this lad is the same level. I also think Tarkowski is off the pace a bit which won’t help O’Brien.

Me either. He very raw, came on yesterday like a wrecking ball, badly disciplined and tactically a bit naive, caught up the pitch three or four times and had to pull people down.

I would look elsewhere first. But if we're bottom 3 in November then Baines or Tait would be no worse.
