Yeah that thought has crossed my mind a few times, something is not right.
Nah. Tarkowski is captain and first choice, Branthwaite would be first choice if fit, Keane is a manager favourite. No room for O’Brien yet.

The current manager.Yeah that thought has crossed my mind a few times, something is not right.
Nah, he will be another transfer who drifts through the club hardly playing then goes on loan/gets a move imo. I always thought it was a strange transfer. Branthwaite can't even stay fit at the moment so nobody is paying large sums for him until he gets his fitness and form back, hell if we can attract a half decent name to lead us he might even stay longer term. Interesting times ahead.Branthwaite goes next season at the latest. That’s his opportunity.
He was brought in to cover the "loss" of Godfrey and Holgate with an eye on the future.I feel sorry for him. You take a normal young footballer having a decent career, early days, and you send him to the wilderness, to oblivion, to fart in the wind because Dyche likes his favourites too much.

He was never going to be starting games every week at this point.
Waiting for him to be fully recovered from it before he puts him on the pitch.Dyche hates diabetics.
Pass it on
You would certainly hope he would be a better option than Keane but realistically none of us know if he is good or not unless we all watch Lyon on the sly. (possible I suppose...)Would agree with this.
Only surprise is I thought maybe he'd be ahead of Keane - but not at all surprised he's not, really.
It was widely known he was a recruitment team signing, and I always felt it was Textor shenanigans.

He ticks a lot of the boxes but he is a bit of a mystery right now. I'm sure his time will come though, like with most centre backs a lot of their chances will come from timing. Most manager don't like to mess around with their defence if they can help it.
