Easily the best out of the 3 centre backs... Was quick tidy on the ball and bossed their big forward about with ease.

Both he and Branthwaite had *very* different roles to what they are used to under Dyche, so with that considered he did well.

O'Brien more so than Branthwaite, playing football rather than sitting scratching his hole is very different.

Thought he did well, without being tested too much. Looked reasonably pacy and is obviously good in the air. Wonder why Dyche has refused to give him any game time especially when Tarks looks like he’s been playing with an injury/niggle for much of the season.

A back three of Branthwaite, Tarks and O’Brien would be pretty physically intimidating and would give us a good threat in the opposition box.

He seemed to manage ok at Lyon. I suspect he's going to be fine now that dychenosaur has gone extinct.
