2024/25 Jake O'Brien

No i agree with you in the fact I would like to see him play games even if in the championship. But if was a loan he had some really good offers this window. Clubs bigger than everton looking to bring him in to start . Clubs in Europe obviously rate him and so did we as we spent the only money we had on him last summer to freeze him out . This was dyches decision for whatever reason.
O brien wants to play and is supposedly gutted in what was sold to him last summer playing time wise.
Secondly when he wasn't played he looked to go to get game time to come back in summer and replace one of the center backs. These moves were blocked by dyche who is now out on his ass.

Everton that.
If he goes to a bigger draw club than Everton we wont get him back.

Championship level is very good now, probably better than the bottom half of the PL.

Playing time is so important for the huge investment Everton made. A new manager might change that. He will be gone in the summer otherwise. Everton won't lose money on him I'd reckon.

Not the right time mate.

I've seen him play for Ireland and he looks vulnerable against classier players than Peterborough's.

He's played 44 minutes of competitive football for Ireland.

And he was poor.

As said: I want nothing but the best for him; but it's way too soon to throw this lad into relegation dogfight. He'll make costly mistakes and his confidence will be shattered. That responsibility cant be placed on the shoulders of a newbie.

We've suddenly got lots of options now we're free of the odious snot head and his stubborn sabotages.

Back 3. O'Brien looking like a right footed Branthwaite. Tim, McNeil, Garner, Chermitti coming back from injury. Harrison showing he can pick a pass we haven't seen since James. Beto proving he can make good use of similar passes. Mangala starting to find his rythm. Much better attacking movement with the back 3. Patterson making a decent case for a start, much more comfortable with 3rd CH to cover for him.

And then we go and hire 4-5-1 + favourites forever Moyes. Everton, that.

Mate?? Which Harrison is this? We wont be seeing much of Chermiti this season either, his injury was weeks away, add the everton treatment room factor and it will be mid April he is fit

Armstrong of course lmao.

The other one still might do well if he's played in his proper position for once - scored 10 Premiership goals from left wing only 3 seasons ago.
